The HCA provides assistance to the health care team, by focusing on patients' comfort and performing delegated patient care duties, including assisting with safe mobilising and service activities as required.
In addition, the HCA supports the team with other non-patient tasks as assigned.You will be based in the Wellington Orthopaedic Clinic but may be required to cover our clinics in Kenepuru on occasion.
This is a busy fast clinic that can see up to 100 patients per day, and we are looking for someone with passion and enthusiasm to support the nursing team.Supporting nursing staff with patient care and comfortAssisting nursing staff with patient flow (ensuring clinics flow)Maintaining oversight of clinical supplies and restocking as neededMaintaining a clean environment to a high standardMaintaining oversight of equipment and supplies required by the nursing teamOther tasks as assigned by the nursing teamAbout our TeamIn the Orthopaedic Clinic, we are focused on Acute Fracture Management and assessment of Orthopaedic Conditions.
We are a supportive team of dedicated Orthopaedic Nurses who work together for the best outcomes for their patients.
