We are particularly interested in a person that is willing to explore many ways of working with whanau in distress, approaching health from a Kaupapa Maori methodology. Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti Mental Health and Addiction Services, Te Ara Maioha, have several opportunities to explore specialties or generalist Consultant Psychiatry in General Adult, Mental Health Services for Older People, and Infant, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Days and hours can be negotiated. Due to new funding allocated to Tairawhiti region for development of new service models and facilities, now is the time to be part of shaping service delivery with a focus on co-design and strong community engagement in addressing inequalities for Maori. Join our dynamic healthcare team in Tairawhiti, where we are dedicated to providing high-quality medical care to our community (population 50,000) on the East coast of the North Island.
