We're looking for a passionate Research Associate to support scientific advances in the health and welfare of our fish in traditional aquaculture while also exploring new and novel aquaculture through cellular agriculture.In this role, you'll be part of developing innovative applications for fish cell lines, paving the way for enhanced aquaculture practices and breakthrough alternative protein solutions. With hands-on practical research and collaboration responsibilities, this position is perfect for a dedicated individual with a degree molecular or cell biology, microbiology, immunology, or a related discipline, who has a scientific mind-set with the ability to develop research questions, design and execute experiments, collect samples, manage and analyse data, and report findings. By focusing on the cultivation and use of fish cells, this role aims to support and improve fish health in aquaculture, addressing challenges in sustainability and disease management.Additionally, the position will explore the integration of cell-based technologies in cellular agriculture, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in alternative protein sources and aquaculture innovation.
