Who are we?Layer3 has been operating since 2005 and is a robust brand with a large and loyal client base. We offer IT services and support to the greater Wellington Region, and have recently expanded our IT services and support to Auckland, Hamilton, and Tauranga.Our consultants design innovative IT strategies and solutions, while our service team engineers keep all systems running smoothly, maintain documentation, advise on strategy, and implement new projects daily. We also host fun social events, provide drinks and snacks every Friday, and offer a competitive salary and benefits package.What you will be doing Day to DayAs a Project Coordinator, you will ensure projects run smoothly alongside the Project Manager and Project leads. You will own all administrative tasks and manage interesting projects. Collaboration with external suppliers to define and execute project deliverables is key. You will also run regular project progress meetings and presentations. No day is the same for a Project Coordinator, which keeps the role exciting.Skills RequiredStrong planning and organisational skillsObsessed with excellence and attention to detailUnderstanding of project management methodologies (PRINCE2, Six Sigma, Agile)Experience with presentationsExperience managing smaller ICT projects and resourcesUnderstanding of the importance of keeping documentation up to dateExperience using project tools (MS Project, ConnectWise Projects, Trello)Excellent customer service skills and a focus on client relationshipsTeam playerOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAble to communicate with all levels internally and externallyShow initiative and proactivityLayer3's offices are based in Upper Hutt, so you will always be against the traffic.
