We are a very fast-paced team who are driven to deliver awesome technologyAbout the roleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with a focus on end-to-end (e2e) and integration testing.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain e2e tests using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, and/or Cucumber.Conduct integration testing with tools such as Jest and PACT.Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.Assist QA testers in upskilling on automation to enhance team capabilities.Perform testing on Micro Frontends (MFEs) and Serverless architectures, specifically with AWS Lambda.RequirementsWhat you'll bringQualifications:Proven experience in e2e and integration testing.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.Ability to mentor and upskill QA testers on automation.Experience in testing on MFEs and Serverless architectures, specifically AWS Lambda.Preferred Skills:Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Bonus - Storybook end 2 end and visual testing using chromatic.Why join us here at Datacom?Datacom is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest suppliers of Information Technology professional services.
