BestStart Rototuna is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Registered Teacher to join our energetic and tight-knit team as our new Head Teacher.
Our focus is to provide quality education to the children in our community.
At BestStart Rototuna, we have an expansive and generous outdoor environment and we value the learning that can be done only in nature.
By having open space where they are safe allows them to freely learn and explore.
Being in nature is necessary for well-being and a generous outdoor space like ours can be calming and helpful when our tamariki are learning to understand their emotions.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week.

Role requirements:
We're looking for a natural leader who shares our values and vision who has a good understanding of programme planning and assessment as well as a drive and passion for growth.
As well as:
B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
A strong understanding of programme planning, pedagogy and curriculum
Good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
