About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software QA/Test Engineer to join our software development team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the functionality, quality, and reliability of our embedded, web-based, and mobile applications. Reporting to the Senior Software Product Manager, the Senior QA Test Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality standards are met. The role will be testing-first, but the opportunity may arise to participate in development activities as well, therefore a growth mindset and an aptitude for learning will help you succeed. You will be detail-oriented, proactive and can balance multiple projects whilst maintaining high standards of quality. Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Experience in software testing within web and mobile application environmentsStrong knowledge of software testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium) and processesProficiency in programming languages for test automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#)Experience with SQL databases for data validation during testingAbout Alstef Group: Alstef Group designs, integrates, and supports automated turnkey solutions for the airport, intralogistics and parcel handling markets.
