Do you have the enthusiasm and dedication to help students unlock their potential?GSL Education have an exciting opportunity for you to join one of our fantastic client schools in Winton as a Learning Support AssistantAbout The RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will play a crucial role in supporting students with their learning, providing tailored assistance to help them achieve their full potential. You'll work with students across various key stages, offering one-to-one and small group support to help them overcome challenges and succeed academically.Key Responsibilities Of The Learning Support AssistantProvide in-class support to students, assisting with lesson delivery and classroom activities.Offer targeted support to students with varying learning needs.Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.Assist in developing personalised learning strategies to engage students with the curriculum.Collaborate with the class teacher to monitor student progress and contribute to lesson planning.Support the social and emotional development of students, offering guidance and encouragement.Requirements Of The Learning Support AssistantA proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting students' learning.Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.A passion for working with children and young people to help them achieve their best.Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.To Work With GSL Education You ShouldHave the right to work in the UK.Have an up-to-date CV and two relevant references from within the last two years.Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.What We OfferCompetitive daily pay rates of £76.92 - £95.68, depending on experience.Immediate start with a welcoming, supportive school team.Opportunities for career development and professional training.Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
