The roleAs a Line Mechanic, you'll play a key role in the construction and maintenance of electrical lines, ensuring they meet customer and network requirements efficiently and effectively. Safety will be your top priority - both for yourself and your team. This role is based in New Plymouth, and you'll report directly to the Delivery Manager - Construction.The key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Assisting with work plans and ensuring that relevant field paperwork is completed as necessaryThe installation and replacement of electricity network poles/overhead conductors and underground power suppliesThe operation of ground and structure mounted electrical equipment associated with electric lines up to 33kVOverhauling non-load-bearing pole hardware in electrical networks up to 33kVThe installation and replacement of electricity network pole structures and overhead conductors.What's in it for you?We want someone who is skilled, motivated, and safety focused.
