We are looking for a marketing and social media all-rounder to support the implementation of the Y's communications and marketing plans.
This is a part-time role (30 hours per week, Monday – Friday) based at our main office in Timaru.Reporting to the Communications & Marketing Leader, this role requires a creative mind, excellent understanding of social media and ability to develop digital content and social media strategies that drive engagement and growth.
Strong graphic design, photography and videography skills are also key to success in this role.What we're looking for…Relevant qualification and/or experience in marketing, social media, or communicationsHighly organised with strong computer competency and knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, InDesign, CanvaEvidence of superior graphic design and photography/videography skills/editing capabilitiesEvidence of digital content/social media experience, and ability to manage and utilise various platforms (especially Facebook, Instagram and TikTok) and their functionsHighly effective communicator, both written and verbal, for developing social media posts and dealing with enquiries and requests via social media platformsConfidence and evidence of skills to front social media campaigns when required, including interviewing others in a group or one-to-one setting.Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills across a diverse range of people and organisationsAbility to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff (i.e.
