Casual Cleaner | Christchurch Health Campus Casual - In this role you will be covering leave for shifts 06.30 - 3pm and 2.30pm to 11pm (please indicate on your cover letter what shifts you are available for).
This position will start mid-January 2025.
About the Role
Salary: Starting rate $23.75 per hour. Based on the E tu Service and Food Workers collective agreement.
Are you looking to contribute to the community in a meaningful way? Join our dedicated and hard-working Environmental Services Department and help maintain our facilities while providing a suitable environment for our turoro (patients) and whanau.

You will be responsible for:
Completing all cleaning tasks to international healthcare standards.
Ensuring daily schedules and tasks are completed within set timeframes.
Operating and maintaining equipment safely around patients and whanau.
Handling cleaning solutions in accordance with safety protocols.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and flexible candidate who is able to bring their passion for cleaning to our facilities. This role will suit a candidate that is looking to help make the Hospital a hygienic and safe space for our patients and whanau.
About You
Skills and Experience:
High level of patient confidentiality.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Excellent customer service and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience as a cleaner, particularly within health, is preferred but not essential.
