This role is responsible for coordinating events that connect stakeholders with students and staff and enhancing the University's reputation.
A key focus is on expanding graduate recruitment, internships, and work-integrated learning opportunities to support the UC Graduate profile.
By ensuring ongoing collaboration and meaningful engagement, the Coordinator helps create valuable opportunities for students while fostering strong external partnerships.You will effectively promote the University's graduate profile while fostering meaningful, long-lasting partnerships with key external stakeholders.Mou | Who You AreTo be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a recognised careers centre/service and/or recruitment environment, with experience and understanding of the public and private sector business environment and have the following:a naturally outgoing personality, capable of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including business leaders, public sector representatives, and non-profit organisationsan understanding of Equal Employment Opportunities and Treaty of Waitangi Principlescommitment to customer service and a high level of professionalismexperience using Microsoft Office applicationsstrong organisational skills and attention to detailproblem solving skills, and works well under pressurepositive and flexibleability to work independently with autonomyexperience in organising events that bring together stakeholders, ensuring they run smoothly and achieve the desired outcomesactive commitment to upholding the values, tikanga, kawa and traditions as guided by mana whenua and valuing te reo Maori.Mahi Ngatahi | Who You Will Work WithThe Careers and Work-Integrated Learning team are professional and experienced specialists focused on students' career development learning.
