We support educators in crafting high-quality, effective, and innovative learning environments that foster student success.The role / Te mahiWe are seeking a dynamic Coordinator to lead the redesign of the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCertHE) so that it becomes an effective programme of teacher induction and development.
You will collaborate with CEDI and university staff to ensure the programme meets accreditation standards and supports teaching excellence at Otago.Some key responsibilities include:Overseeing day-to-day management of the redesign of the PGCertHE, including resource allocation and timelines.Coordinating project teams, ensuring collaboration with stakeholders and adherence to policies.Tracking progress, addressing challenges and keeping the programme on schedule.Guiding the Curriculum Redesign Proposal through the approval process.Securing Advance HE accreditation for the PGCertHE.Ensuring a seamless implementation of the PGCertHE, enabling staff enrolment in 2026.Developing a system to track Fellowship status with Advance HE.Your skills and experience / Ka pukeka me ka wheakoWe are looking for candidates with:A bachelor's degree in any discipline (a postgraduate qualification in education or a related field is an advantage).Proven experience in project planning and coordination, preferably in a higher education setting.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a culturally responsive approach to collaboration.University teaching experience is desirable.Your ability to thrive in a busy environment while maintaining a proactive and positive attitude is essential.Further details / PurokoThis is a part-time (18.75 hours per week), fixed-term position until December 2025, located in Otepoti, Dunedin.Candidates must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for this role.The appointment range for this role is $67,566 to $72,086.
