Our successful candidate will manage all aspects of teaching planning, practice, and review, working alongside our Admin Manager to co-manage all Kindy operations.ResponsibilitiesLeading and developing a high-quality team, including assistance with registration and ongoing professional development.Taking leadership in creating a safe, interesting, and engaging environment for children where they are encouraged to develop their interests and strengths.Managing day-to-day centre operations, including staffing, enrolments, and marketing initiatives.Communication with families and the wider church community.Ensuring the health and safety of staff, children, and their families.Skills and ExperienceQualified and fully certificated teacher.Highly skilled in building strong relationships with families and the wider community.Aptitude for leading, respecting, and inspiring a teaching team.Initiative, desire, and passion for quality practice standards and commitment to the principles of Te Whariki.Commitment to a philosophy of child-directed learning within a loose framework.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Your application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a Head Teacher?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?Do you have experience planning and implementing education programs in an early learning environment?Do you have a current Working With Children (WWC) Check?
