Reporting directly to the Hawke's Bay Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our busy Hawke's Bay Civils team.

Key responsibilities of this role include: Managing the Civils and Traffic Management group across the Hawke's Bay region.
Ensuring the efficient scheduling of resources to maintain targeted productivity levels.
Ensuring all plant and equipment is maintained, tested and warranted in accordance with Unison and statutory requirements.
Preparing budgets, operating costs and service level reports in accordance with Company requirements.
Supervising the allocation of materials, staff and equipment resources, reporting variances in budget, efficiency and labour utilisation.
Ensuring the observance of safe working practices and compliance with all Health and Safety regulations.
Contributing to business and strategic planning activities with the Senior Management group, as required.
To be successful in this position you will need: Relevant experience in a Civils business environment.
Minimum 3 years people management experience.
Effective planning and organisational skills.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage.
