Build your best future with the Johnson Controls teamWe are needing a Senior Alarm Technician (Projects) to join our Auckland teamAt Wormald, we have a strong, stable and supportive team culture, and we're passionate about what we do – Fire ProtectionWe are the leading fire protection specialists in New Zealand, we have been protecting people and property here for over 130 years and enjoy a reputation as providing the most capable and reliable safety products and services nationwide.What we offer:Fulltime Permanent employmentCompetitive salary packageExcellent team cultureOngoing training and opportunities for professional development and upskillingWhat you will do:Supervise the overall day to day, performance, co-ordination, management and maintenance of the agreed project works at our customer's site(s) to obtain maximum productivity, efficiency, quality, service and profitability for the organisation upholding all aspects of compliance and standards and adhering to budget and prescribed criteriaHow you will do it:Supervise the overall day to day, performance, co-ordination, management and maintenance of the agreed project and maintenance works to assist in obtaining maximum productivity, efficiency, quality, service and profitability for the organisation upholding all aspects of compliance and standards and adhering to budget, policies and processesEnsure the team are focused and deliver key priorities including high quality delivery, high standards of health and safety and communication with the customers/sub-contractorsResponsible for day-to-day planning and co-ordination of the teamCarry out allocated tasks/projects in accordance with contractual requirementsSupport and track the progress of the projectLiaise with team/contractors/suppliers and other stakeholdersEnsure compliance with agreed quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation including health and safetyProgramming and Commissioning of Alarm systemsTechnical guidance to field staff involved in projectsWhat we look for?Prior experience in project supervision including project planning, leading the delivery team (direct & sub-contractors), budget management, EH&S, policy complianceExperience in Fire security systems including maintenance and fault rectificationCustomer relationship managementExcellent oral and written communication skillsSound technical background & knowledge relating to line of businessProven customer-facing experience and etiquetteStrong organizational, administrative skills and time management skills with ability to meet deadlinesMS Office competenceCapable of working autonomously and efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressureAbility to work effectively as a team member and independentlyPlease note pre-employment checks – including reference checks, medical, criminal record check, and drug & alcohol testing – will form part of the eligibility process.If this is the right opportunity for you - Apply Now
