The Community Resilience Coordinator is an active member of the Council's Civil Defence and Emergency Management (CDEM) team, and key duties will include:Contributing to emergency management activitiesSupporting communities to develop community response plansDeveloping and delivering public education programmesStrengthening links between CDEM and communitiesSupporting the delivery of CDEM trainingContributing to the development of guidance and tools to support work programmesActing as duty CDEM officer on a rostered basisThis role has on-duty obligations and after-hours work as a core part of the role.
