We are currently seeking a skilled Bobcat Operator to join a dynamic team in the earthworks and construction industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating the Bobcat to assist with site preparation, excavation, and material handling.
If you take pride in your work, prioritize safety, and have a strong commitment to delivering top-quality results, we want to hear from youCompetitive Weekly payPPE ProvidedRenown and respected Tauranga companyOpportunity for a long-term position for the right candidateKey Responsibilities:Safely operate Bobcat machinery on job sites.Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections, addressing any mechanical or safety concerns.Keep accurate records of equipment use, maintenance, and inspections.Maintain open communication with site supervisors and team members regarding progress and any issues.Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep the Bobcat in optimal working condition.Qualifications:WTR (Wheels, Tracks, Rollers) endorsement preferred.Class 2 and Class 4 driver's licenses are advantageous.Proven experience operating Bobcat machinery in earthmoving or construction roles.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.Reliable, punctual, and physically fit to handle maintenance tasks when required.Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test.About the Company: Our client, a well-respected and long-standing earthworks company in the Bay of Plenty, has been delivering exceptional earthmoving and cartage services for over 42 years.
