The Service Manager will, in conjunction with service leadership, continue to monitor Urology performance, identify issues and risks – developing and implementing plans to mitigate these.
The successful candidate will work closely with relevant stakeholders to support the service locally and to develop the relationships and structures necessary for Urology to reorientate having a district-wide model of care.
This role is responsible for service delivery processes, including management of financial performance, activity and production planning, health targets, human resource management, quality and risk management, certification and accreditation, clinical pathway development and other service delivery improvements within the services.Working in partnership with clinical and other staff, the Service Manager will contribute to strategic and operational management in a way that is consistent with the Southern's vision and values.About the Team/Service/ LocationHealth NZ - Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities.
