You'll be living and breathing Tradify's goals and culture on a daily basis.Key responsibilities:Leading and fostering a positive team-oriented environment to develop a complex software platformDefine architecture and design technical solutions to achieve business objectivesDefining and overseeing the use of tools and processes for development and production infrastructureEnsure the programme of work and outputs are aligned with the business objectivesOverseeing the infrastructure on which the Tradify platform runsBalance a variety of concurrent work streams, executing full lifecycle software developmentOversee well-designed, testable, efficient codeProduce specifications and determine operational feasibilityIntegrate software components into a fully functional software systemDevelop software verification plans and quality assurance proceduresDocument and maintain software functionalityTailor and deploy software tools, processes and metricsRequirements:10+ years of experience developing commercial web applications and/or mobile apps.
Experience in design implementation of large-scale, high-traffic consumer-facing sites is a huge plusDetailed knowledge of web application development and extensive experience using .NET, C# and Javascript as well as relational databases such as SQL ServerProven hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React or similarAbility to develop software in C# with OOP/OOA principlesExcellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (EF)Experience developing web apps with at least one popular framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)Experience with modern front-end web frameworks and patterns in CSS, HTML, JS and JS librariesExperience with Amazon Web Services and associated toolsExperience with version control systems such as gitExperience in building or working on a metrics/analytics/business intelligence systemAbility to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to new ideas required in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven team environmentOrganisation and analytic skills, with strong problem-solving abilityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGreat people skills (you'll know how to communicate with team members and have some fun)Knowing the trade-off between server-side performance and features.
