Financial Adviser Support - New Business & UnderwritingWe are looking for an insurance professional to join our New Zealand - owned company based in Takapuna.
Penberthy Insurance has been in business for more than 40 years providing business and personal insurance, medical & health, lending and specialist insurance products across New Zealand.We are seeking a talented and motivated Financial Adviser Support - New Business & Underwriting to join our dynamic team.
This role provides dedicated support to Advisers throughout the new business and sales process within the Life Division.
A key focus is on building strong, professional relationships with clients, insurers and the wider Penberthy team.Qualifications & experienceCertificate of Financial Services (Level 5) (desirable)1 years' experience in Life & Medical Industry (must have experience)Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organisational and time-management skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Tasks & responsibilitiesProvide proactive support to the Financial Advisers and regular communication on workflow statuses throughout the New Business and/or Alterations process.Preparation of the Statement of Advice (Report) and all supporting documentation, including but not limited to:Product ResearchQuotesExisting Insurer InformationPrepare and complete applications with clients and ensure accurate submission to insurers.Proactively assist with the underwriting process, to progress applications to issue policies.Ensure all information is accurately recorded in our system and communicated with the Insurers.Work with the adviser and insurers to obtain the best outcome for the client.What we offerA great working environment within a supportive and fun team.Opportunity within the business to advance your career, working alongside an experienced team.Salary will be based on experience and the value you bring to the team.Three Wellness Days (after 12 months of continuous employment).Group Medical, Life and Income Protection benefits.
