Our team is dedicated to driving growth across our Iwi-owned business network, facilitating collaborative strategic outcomes, and managing vertically, horizontally and circular integrated economic outcomes. We work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure our portfolio contributes to the prosperity and wellbeing of our Iwi.Ko te turanga mahi | About the roleThe Business Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing the Commercial Portfolio business area within the team. Key aspects of the role include:Overseeing and monitoring the portfolio's performanceManaging compliance and shareholder expectationsIdentifying and monitoring portfolio and entity-specific risk factorsDeveloping and managing compliance management plansProviding portfolio level reportingManaging relationships with appointed directors and key personnel across the portfolioDriving growth and facilitating collaborative strategic outcomesKo nga wheako ou | About youYour high-level experience and professional expertise in portfolio management and business strategy is a given, and you will be excited to engage and learn alongside a competent team of professionals.Of course, you'll be well practiced with:Applied business managementFinancial analysis and reportingRisk assessment and problem-solvingEntrepreneurshipAsset performance forecasting and reportingOpportunity identification and analysisGovernance experienceStakeholder relationship managementStrategic planning and executionCompliance managementProactive, motivated and self-directedWorking in a Maori business environment (preferred)But the thing that will really stand out is your love for the work, and the people.
