This role requires ensuring all tasks associated with food production are performed with due regard for Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations.
This is a Casual Position on an 'as and when' required basis upon business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, cook, and present food, including assembling and preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and portioning and plating food.Maintain consumer satisfaction by ensuring personal hygiene and presentation standards are maintained and striving to exceed consumer expectations.Clean and maintain kitchen premises, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning equipment, and handling waste.Develop menus to meet special dietary and cultural needs, identifying requirements and evaluating meals and menus.Assist with ordering and stock control, receiving and storing kitchen supplies, and ensuring supplies are rotated and maintained.Minimum RequirementsNZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery or equivalent.Previous experience cooking in a similar environment.Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner.Team player with the ability to work autonomously and a flexible approach and attitude.Good communication skills, hard-working, physically fit, and reliable.Company OverviewWe are New Zealand's leading and largest food and support services provider across multiple industries, specializing in turning ordinary acts of service into extraordinary experiential moments for our clients.Don't miss out on this unique opportunity - Click 'Apply' NowFor any recruitment queries, please contact the Compass Group Recruitment team at ******
