From certificates to postgraduate studies, we offer NZQA programmes for learners at a level and pathway that suits them.We are looking for an experienced Business Tutor to teach for NorthTec | Te Pukenga partnership school in Yiwu, China.
This is a fixed-term position until June 2025, teaching in a classroom up to approximately 20 hours per week, starting ASAP.We welcome tutors who are positive, resilient, passionate about helping akonga (students), and comfortable with ongoing changes.
It is expected that our tutors can engage with less motivated students and develop good working relationships with other tutors, administration, and management staff.The Offshore Business Tutor will be responsible for delivering the following papers:Human Resource ManagementApplied ManagementBusiness FunctionsBusiness Planning and Team EngagementYou will also be responsible for:Supporting and mentoring students to achieve desirable outcomes by using student-centred teaching and creating a positive and supportive learning environment.Helping students to understand and work effectively with the business content delivered in English.Promoting and contributing positively to the international college teaching team's culture.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:A bachelor's degree in a business-related field.Recent industry experience with a passion for teaching students.Experience teaching in a business-related field to students with low English language levels.A student-centred approach to teaching.Some overseas experience and ideally have worked in China before with young adult learners; however, this is not mandatory.What We Will OfferCompetitive remuneration, international travel insurance, accommodation, meals, flights between China and country of residence.An enriching and challenging teaching experience.How to ApplyAs a responsible employer and education provider, NorthTec | Te Pukenga is committed to the protection of children and vulnerable persons and applies relevant policy and practice to meet this commitment.
