Mo tenei turanga mahi | about the role As a a Senior Project Leader in Voting Services you will lead projects and streams of work in a fast-paced environment subject to high levels of public and political scrutiny.
You will be enabling people to have equitable access to our country's democratic processes.
This requires you to work with the utmost integrity, and in a way that provides assurance as to the accuracy and legitimacy of our electoral processes.
Salary Band $124,061 - $137,845 Mohou ake | About you You are a "doer" who has experience in project leadership in an operational context.
You are a passionate and dedicated Senior Project Leader who can actively engage with a wide group of internal stakeholders and incorporate input and advice into operational documentation and processes.
We are seeking candidates who: * Can get work completed in a timely manner and to high standards.
* Has previous experience in event delivery areas.
* Can analyse data and provide meaningful recommendations.
* Has strong relationship management skills and can work and communicate cross-functionally and with a diverse group of stakeholders.
* Can build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
* Works independently, with minimal support in a high-paced delivery environment.
* Has strong writing skills and is able to write to a wide audience including writing reports, instructional manuals, guidelines and policies.
Summary of Key responsibilities * Ensuring delivery against project milestones in accordance with project schedules and plans.
* Engaging with field subject matter experts to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
* Identifying areas of improvement and developing appropriate documentation to enable a decision to be made.
* Managing the procurement of the required goods or services.
* Managing the relationships, delivery, and performance of 3rd party vendors.
* Ensuring that the security and integrity of the electoral process is maintained.
* Undertaking business analysis, including contributing to decision papers, use cases and requirement documentation.
* Proactively resolving challenges and problems by demonstrating collaboration and cooperation.
* Undertaking / supporting the development of business cases for projects to enable decisions to be made on whether to proceed.
