The Manager, Contracts and Fund Management is a key leadership role and will contribute significantly to the Ministry delivering against government priorities of Attendance reform, Learning Support and Better use of Data.
This is one of the larger contracts-focused roles within central government agencies.Responsibilities will focus on driving optimisation in the Ministry's investment in services and supports, with a clear focus on delivering and evidencing strategic outcomes.
This is an opportunity to influence and maximise the investment in education services.

As a trusted advisor, you'll lead the provision of strategic contract and fund management advice.You will bring the following competencies:Strong collaborative skills and a track record of achieving results through influence and partnership.People and operational leadership experience within a complex environment.Experience in building relationships and partnerships to achieve shared outcomes.Proven expertise in planning, reporting and risk management.Strong collaborative skills with senior leaders, business leads and project managers.The ability to design and develop contract and fund investment operating models.A leadership style that provides clear direction towards delivery outcomes.Systems expertise and effective use of reporting to inform decision making.Demonstrated experience of successful contracts programme management in the public sector.The ability to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.About our group and team | Matau ropu akeTe Mahau | Te Pae Aronui | Operations & Integration - Te Pae Aronui connects people, knowledge, services, and regulatory processes to help shape an inclusive education system.
