About the role: This is a newly created leadership role reporting into the CMO, managing a Digital & Content coordinator direct report, working closely with the Marketing & Brand Lead (and team), Event & Competitions Lead, Senior Media & PR Advisor and Digital Analyst.
This is a really exciting time to join as Netball New Zealand undertakes a marketing transformation strategy to drive optimal customer experiences.
This role is responsible for aligning and managing Netball New Zealand's comprehensive digital content strategy across all platforms, including websites, social media, email and mobile applications.
Key responsibilities include: Lead, develop and implement the digital content strategy across websites, social media, email and mobile applications, optimisation of digital content (SEO) and user experience.
Lead and implement the content calendar and asset creation (e.g.
social media posts, video content and written content).
Develop and implement all monitoring, reporting and optimisation of all digital activities across the business.
Lead digital innovation and engagement , staying across all digital trends and technology, including new tool adoption.
Lead a Digital & Content coordinator .
About You: You will have 8+ years' experience managing digital and content marketing in the services sector.
Bonus if you have sport, events, entertainment or media experience.
You are passionate about best practice strategic digital and content marketing, being the digital champion within the organisation.
You will be highly competent in photo, video and audio editing, with strong copywriting skills.
You will have solid proven experience leading successful digital and content channel specific strategic campaigns across websites, all digital channels and social media.
You will be analytical - familiar with Google Analytics and social media analysis.
You will have strong knowledge of SEO, UX, digital best practices and digital reporting & optimisation.
Who you are: You will have worked closely with the wider brand, marketing and events team supporting them on TTL marketing.
You're a natural leader who is calm, resilient and focused.
With exceptional relationship management skills, collaborating with internal teams as well as agencies and partners.
You will have excellent project management attention to detail, being both strategic & hands-on with a creative mindset.
You will have a passion for sport and sports marketing with a deep understanding of the role digital and content plays in growing brand engagement.
