Regional Programme Lead - Central. Basketball New ZealandOur vision - Hoops in the heart of every communityOur mission - We exist to inspire you to live & love this game as much as we doThe Role:This role is an integral part of the Participation and Wellbeing team and will be primarily responsible for delivering programmes and services that protect and promote the wellbeing of players, with a focus on reaching participants across the greater Wellington region. The role will also support local basketball associations to build their understanding and capability to deliver national programmes and will contribute to the development of relevant national performance and prevention programme content and resources. The role will report to the Participation and Wellbeing Lead and sit within the wider BBNZ Community Team.Developing and maintaining strong, positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including, but not limited to, secondary-school basketball players, local basketball coaches, Association staff, and fellow BBNZ colleagues will be critical to the success of this role. The role will seek to encourage regional collaboration with the goal of embedding sustainable systems, structures, and change while also ensuring that key contracted deliverables from investment partners are met in a timely manner.
