Agile to ensure they meet demand; they have the capability to run multiple product lines within their 24/12 operation.As the organisation continues its focus on optimising production and developing their team, they seek a dynamic and experienced General Manager – Operations to drive the business forward.About the RoleAs the General Manager – Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, ongoing compliance, and business growth.
Supported by an Operations Lead, this senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can lead all aspects of operations to drive operational excellence.
Reporting to the Board, you will work closely with the highly experienced General Manager – Sales, to ensure production capability to meet demand.As an agile environment, this role offers significant scope, with key accountabilities that include:Overseeing and optimising daily operations to ensure efficiency and maximisation of production.Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team, whilst fostering a cohesive work environment.Developing long-term strategies to enhance production efficiencies.Financial management across all areas of the operation.Leading health and safety, quality and compliance to ensure industry best practices.Overseeing procurement, warehousing, supplier management, and production scheduling to ensure operational efficiency.Managing and enhancing key stakeholder relationships – internal and external.About youWe are seeking a well-experienced operations/production leader with a track record of strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capability.
A high level of commercial acumen and financial literacy will combine with a strong commitment to quality systems, compliance, and health & safety.
Your ability to lead and develop your team, and your inherent understanding of maximising efficiencies within a manufacturing environment will set you apart from others.
You will possess advanced analytical skills, a focus on continuous improvement, and experience in relationship management.This dynamic work environment will see you being someone who can think on your feet, and someone who genuinely enjoys working within a fast-paced production environment.
