This includes people leadership, communication, safety, environmental management, financial, quality and agreed timeframes.
The role requires proactive management towards resources to maximize financial returns and effectively manage communications and SLA's to maintain relationships with clients.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the operational management and maintenance of Transmission Gully, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with contractual obligations.Oversee the Capital Works projects collaborating closely with the client to deliver high-quality outcomes.Lead, manage, and mentor direct reports, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including NZTA, contractors, and other partners.Manage financials, including budgets, forecasts, reporting, ensuring financial targets are met and value is delivered.Play a key role in contract strategy and execution, with the opportunity to make this role your own and drive improvements.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Proven experience in contract management, preferably within the Transport/Roading infrastructure sector.Strong people management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders including government bodies and contractors.Solid financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.Proactive and results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.A passion for working in a diverse and dynamic environment.This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the direction of the contract, lead a dedicated team, and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of one of New Zealand's most important infrastructure projects.ABOUT VENTIA:Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
