Sales Consultant (BDM) - Inbound & OutboundBusiness Development Manager – Lead with a Top B2B Brand in New ZealandUnleash your sales talent with a powerhouse in the B2B market with drinking water solutions.We're on the hunt for our next BDM superstar Someone who lives and breathes B2B sales and has a true "Hunter" mentality but can also get into the nitty gritty of things.This role is perfect for a sales professional eager to dominate their field by building connections, opening doors (literally...yes door knocking works very well), and closing deals daily. Established 25 years ago and continuing to grow across multiple product lines, we serve clients from government agencies to leading corporate brands, SMEs, and sole traders from the Far North to the Deep South across New Zealand.Why This Role Stands OutThis position is diverse, high-energy, and primed for growth. You'll begin by mastering our inbound lead processes and retention efforts, then quickly transition to proactive business development. With the support of our expert team and under the guidance of a leader committed to your growth, providing mentorship, training, and insights to help you reach your highest potential, you'll have the tools to create and close your own sales pipeline successfully.Key activities include:A core focus on closing and expanding all Inbound leads. Majority are B2B / Govt but does include some residential customers.Growing existing customers with a range of products.Building strong connections with decision-makers, facility managers, procurement experts, and more (we're FMANZ sponsors).Outbound call programmes, B2B outreach, Key Account development, and yes, effective door-knocking.Managing a consistent pipeline of meetings and opportunities across both North and South Island locations.Expect monthly Domestic travel (can be a week at a time) and full support from a seasoned team with proven B2B success systems.Package for the right candidate:Competitive package with base and commission package.
