Residents and their families use these spaces whenever they like, to socialise, do activities and host visitors.It's a fun place to be, and we need caring, kind, creative, reliable, and energetic people to join our team and become part of our Enliven communityAbout The RoleAs a Cleaner and Laundry Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring our Home provides a safe, clean, and hygienic environment where our residents can feel comfortable in all areas of the Home.
The role is 59 hours per fortnight working Monday, Tuesday, Friday 0800-1400 and Saturday and Sunday 0730-1430.Your Key Responsibilities Will BeDeliver the highest standard of cleaning and laundry services within the Home.Take instruction and delegation from the Senior Housekeeper regarding priorities and cleaning routines.Understand and follow cleaning protocols that support good infection control within the Home.Conduct cleaning tasks and routines effectively and in a timely manner.You will be operating a variety of commercial laundry machines and equipment whilst undertaking a range of laundry procedures such as washing, drying, ironing, folding, and delivering residents' clothing.Work independently, but also be part of a team.About YouAs well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well-organised with great interpersonal skills.
You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect.
Previous experience working in a rest home or hospital environment is a plus, but it's not essential, as we can help you learn what you need to know.
