We teach across all AUT's campuses, including AUT Millennium - our world-class sports training and research facility.Mo tenei turanga mahi: Key responsibilitiesIn this role, you'll have the chance to:Lead and innovate course delivery, curriculum development and supervision across our comprehensive Sport and Exercise Science programmes, with specific expertise in functional anatomy, and exercise prescription and programming.Develop impactful research that aligns with our industry partnerships and enhances the knowledge base in sport and exercise science.Engage meaningfully with students, fostering kotahitanga (unity), a student-centred learning environment that encourages academic and personal growth.Actively integrate Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles into teaching and research, embracing Te Aronui, AUT's Te Tiriti Framework to create culturally safe and inclusive spaces.
This includes embedding Matauranga Maori and tikanga Maori into curricula and research, fostering meaningful relationships with Maori communities, and championing Kaupapa Maori methodologies.
