We really are a company that wants to make a positive difference.We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join our team for fixed term (14 months) parental leave cover.In this role, you will report directly to the Financial Reporting and Analysis Manager and play a crucial part in ensuring the timely and accurate execution of month-end, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements.
Your work will support management, the Board, and external stakeholders contributing to our organization's financial transparency and decision-making processes.
You will adopt an internal customer-centric approach, collaborating closely with various departments to understand their needs and provide tailored financial insights and support.This includes:Success through comprehensive monthly management reports, showcasing financial performance with detailed balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow insights.Leading seamless external reporting processes, ensuring clarity, compliance, and stakeholder confidence.Unlocking growth potential by analysing performance trends, identifying both challenges and opportunities for continuous improvement.Forecasting future financial health with precise balance sheet and cash flow projections supporting strategic decision-making.Guiding half-year and year-end audits, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and regulatory compliance.Strengthening financial integrity through accurate month-end journals, laying the foundation for reliable financial data.Providing expert technical accounting guidance, empowering teams to navigate complex financial scenarios with confidence.Maintaining financial accuracy by reviewing and preparing balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring alignment and accountability.Demonstrating compliance and efficiency through the preparation of FBT, R&D, and income tax returns, contributing to the organization's financial sustainability.If you are a proactive and meticulous financial professional with a passion for excellence and a continuous improvement mindset, we would love to hear from you.
You will have highly developed technical and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and adaptable communication skills.
