)Applications will also be considered from interested contractors.The opportunityWe are looking for a Project Manager on a fixed term basis who is experienced in business change and transformation initiatives, specifically related to ERP implementation, to lead the Western Bay of Plenty District Council through a significant change project.
The ERP will be a game changer in how Council teams work, designed to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, improve customer service and support future-ready operations and services.In this role you will work with our business activity leads and vendor representatives to develop a plan to replace Councils financial and regulatory systems.
This plan should map out success measures, define and sequence tasks, allocate resources, identify and assess risks, estimate costs and outline methods for tracking/reporting of progress.
You will then be responsible for the successful delivery of this plan.Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will play a key role in establishing and maintaining a healthy & vibrant project team culture and supporting our stakeholders across the organisation.We need someone that's very good at working with people and technology.
Working closely with a Change Manager, we need everyone to buy-in to the implementation approach.
