This growth has created an opportunity for an established Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our fantastic Parnell based team. This is a client facing role with input into a wide range of projects including building, infrastructure, and land development from investigation through to construction completion.The role and YouTo be successful you will bring the following qualifications and experience:8+ years industry experience in Geotechnical EngineeringCPEng, or working towards assessmentOngoing development of professional skills and willingness to mentor/support othersCompetent in managing ground investigations and characterising sitesExperience in geotechnical designExperience in project management (additional training can be provided)Appreciation of engineering riskAn understanding of commercial riskPreparedness to innovate and think outside the squareStrong report writing capabilityPerformance bonus scheme for senior staff.Professional memberships are paid for by Initia – Engineering New Zealand.Chartership assessment fees are paid for by Initia.Mobile phone plan paid by Initia.Mobile phone handset allowance provided by Initia.Private Health Care provided by Initia through Southern Cross.Other non-financial benefitsCompany laptop providedUse of company vehicles for site visits and work related activitiesIn-house training provided by InitiaIn-house mentor/career coachInitia funds company social/recreational activities and company eventsProfessional Development ProgramFuture shareholding potential for the right candidateIdeally, you will demonstrate consulting experience combined with strong technical ability to design and deliver complex solutions to our clients.
