This role is all about helping customers turn their data into meaningful insights through intuitive, effective visual storytelling.
You'll collaborate closely with designers and engineers to create a best-in-class experience for customers looking to make data-driven decisions with ease.
Define requirements and deliver the context necessary for our designers and engineers to create impactful, user-friendly visual solutions Drive the project schedule from design to release, including coordinating market launch and customer adoption Use customer data and feedback to inform design and implementation decisions Test the performance of the new product, refine assumptions, and iterate quickly Help shape the vision and product strategy for the company Demonstrate a real obligation and responsibility towards customers, the product team, and other stakeholders Understand our customers, the data we store for them, our business, and the industries we support Write and own the business cases for your product initiatives Collaborate with other product managers and designers to ensure a consistent customer experience across products  Some of the things you'll need to succeed in this role Strong track record of bringing SaaS applications to production quickly and efficiently Experience in product management OR as general manager or CEO of a startup Strong technical background and understanding Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously BI/analytics experience/understanding A growth mindset and a bias for action Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools Phocas is usually a strong supporter of international talent but due to current immigration settings and processing times, we can only consider applicants with current NZ working rights for this position.Why work at Phocas?  When we ask what people like about working here, 'the people' is the single most common answer  Our office – spacious, conveniently located in sunny Sydenham, plenty of parking for four-, two- or even single wheeled vehicles, a variety of snacks and beverages.
