If you're ready to apply your technical expertise in a dynamic production environment and secure a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week, then this is the career opportunity you've been waiting for.Required Skills and Responsibilities:Technical Expertise: Demonstrate profound understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specificationsMetal Fabrication: Excel in material selection, cutting, shaping, forming, and joining metals to precise specificationsQuality Control: Conduct comprehensive inspections, take precise measurements, and maintain rigorous quality standardsEquipment Operation: Operate specialized machinery including CNC systems, turret punch presses, and foundry equipmentProcess Control: Monitor and adjust machine settings, temperature controls, and material feed rates for optimal productionMaterial Handling: Safely transfer raw materials and finished products using appropriate equipmentMaintenance: Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairsDocumentation: Maintain detailed production logs and operational data recordsSafety Compliance: Demonstrate thorough understanding of workplace safety protocols and proper PPE usageTeam Collaboration: Display effective communication skills for coordinating with team membersExperience: Must have 3 years relevant experience.Positions are currently available across multiple regions of New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, and Southland. Workers may be required to travel between these locations as operational needs arise. The employer will cover all necessary travel expenses and accommodation when relocation is required.
