You will contribute in a meaningful way to the protection of Aotearoa New Zealand through collaboration with internal stakeholders and industry partners.As a Senior Manager, you will lead an expert team, manage multiple and competing stakeholder relationships, balance long and short-term deliveries, organise resources across shifting priorities, while consistently role-modelling constructive and highly accountable senior leadership.Drive continuous improvement within the business to ensure efficient change.Ensure service levels and standards including accuracy and productivity are maintained through continued training of staff.Document and present statistical results to non-technical business audiences.Apply thought leadership to enhanced data analytics, including the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.With a continuous improvement mindset, monitor performance of and recommend changes to fraud monitoring, balancing efficiency with customer experience and risk appetite.Consistently benchmark Fraud and scam rule sets against local and international industry data, liaising and leveraging internal and external stakeholders.Participate in relevant internal and external forums relating to fraud and scam intelligence and analysis.Nga mea kia whai angitu ahau? | What do I need to be successful?Proven leadership with a focus on delivering outcomes5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics within an AML/CFT, Fraud, Credit Risk Management or Finance areaExposure to the rigors and requirements of working in a regulated industryTertiary qualification in Financial or Statistical Analysis preferredExcellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and confidence presenting to groupsAbility to summarise and articulate complex data and analysis in a concise mannerExperience in SQL/Python query building and executionTe mahi ki ASB | Working for ASBWe offer a competitive salary, great banking benefits, beautiful location to work from, heaps of personal and career development opportunities, flexible working styles and parental benefits.At ASB, we are committed to our vision and values of Ngakau Pono (Integrity), Manaakitanga (Caring), Awata (Passion), Maia (Courage) and Kapuia (United).
