With over 125 practices nationwide, we are the heart of every New Zealand community and want to ensure we are providing the highest standard of care to our patients & ongoing support to our clinicians.We ensure that our clinicians and clinical teams receive great training and development opportunities as well as modern equipment and the technology to help them grow professionally.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a reliable engaging person to join our team as a Receptionist with some Dental Assistant work as required.Here at Smile Centre Lumino Hastings we pride ourselves in the high quality of dental services we provide to the wider community ensuring our patients leave smiling.As a Receptionist, you will be the face and voice of the practice. A typical day will see you assisting our patients with their enquiries, generating and confirming appointment bookings, completing payment processing, banking, and other ad hoc administrative duties. It will be rewarding as no 2 days are the same, and what a pleasure to see people leaving with a smile on their facesWhen you are working as a Dental Assistant, you will be a critical part of our team You will support our highly experienced team of clinicians with various interesting dental procedures during patient appointments. You will also take responsibility for instrument sterilisation and infection control. Working beside experienced Dentists will give you a great insight into our practice and a rare opportunity to learn from one of the best.The Hours for the role are:Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pmFriday 8.00am - 4.30pmQualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Previous experience as a Receptionist would be idealDental experience and sterilization experience is preferable but not essentialCustomer-facing experience a must.Warm and positive attitude and team-oriented approach.Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.Computer savvy skills with the ability to pick up things quickly preferable.Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.Additional InformationOpportunities for internal career growth within the companyLong service benefitsDiscounted Southern Cross health insurance.Discounts at various retailers through Boost BenefitSounds like a job for you?
