We're exploring potential interest in this role and gathering insights to inform future opportunities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:To derive accurate camera & object 3D solutions adhering to all provided camera & subject specifications (focal length, film back, lens distortion, rolling shutter etc)To use relevant 3D software to work out the co-ordinates and movement of the physical camera and / or objects in a live action shotTo be able to develop solutions for the tracking of 3D cameras and solve problems that may ariseTo understand Anamorphic Lenses for the creation of undistorting/re-distorting of platesTo be able to follow direction and take ownership of your tasksTo be able to confidently flag when there are issues and lack of clarity of your tasks informing relevant supervisors and production managersTo be conscious of continuity between scenes/shots when working with other Camera TDs & Layout artists with the same project, sequence, assets etcTo organize your time, collaborate, and effectively communicate with your supervisors and teammatesTo be accountable for assigned task targets and be proactive in communication related to the assigned targetsTo actively maintain all required documentation including time logging on a daily basisWHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:Minimum 5+ year of experience in a similar role within the live action visual effects industry for feature filmsExperience with 3DEqualizer, Maya, FTrack, NukeProficiency in Houdini is an advantageA firm grasp of 3D tracking principles and toolsetsA great eye for detail and precision with strong problem-solving skillsThe ability to deliver results to a high standard with the aid and direction of the matchmove and layoutThe ability to be adaptable and accepting of changes in a production scheduleAwareness of project schedules and capable of delivering work to deadlinesA broad understanding of the overall VFX workflow and needs/requirements of other departments and disciplinesGood communication skills both technically and creativelyA team player who excels in a collaborative environmentIn order to meet target deadlines, our Camera TD must have effective time management skills and be able to prioritize their work effectivelyWHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS:If this opportunity excites you and you bring the experience and passion we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you
