Our technicians work collaboratively with the other clinical team members including the Cardiac Physiologists, Nurses and cardiologists within the department to ensure whanau experience efficient and effective care.The hours of work for this position are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm with a study component attached. You will be supported to complete the Certificate in Physiological Measurement (CPM), a one-year course which entails an academic component as well as both practical work and case studies. Health NZ will cover the cost of the course; to gain this qualification, a trainee must complete the course and have one year of full-time employment.This is a fixed-term position for 18 months with the opportunity to become permanent pending successful completion of the Certificate in Physiological Measurement (CPM) program.Ideally, you will be a customer-focused person, with some relevant previous study already completed. Experience in the health system is desirable but not essential.
