This is perfect for someone who can work in defined processes, is quality and safety oriented, pays close attention to detail, and is willing to learn.
You will receive a full training and comprehensive onboarding.Your RoleAfter completing your induction training you will work at a designated workstation within Disassembly or Assembly.Carry out engine work as per manufacturer's manuals.Interpret engine manuals as well as specific customer requirements for required work.Work to set timelines and milestones to deliver engines to testing and back to the customer on time without compromising safety and quality.Using our computer system to document and record your work.Ensuring that your work meets all health and safety requirements.This is a safety sensitive role, and all candidates will go through a medical assessment and drug & alcohol testing.Your ProfileBe Trade Qualified – NZQA Level 4.
Please provide a copy of your relevant qualifications.Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.Have solid work experience in a similar environment, such as aviation, automotive, mechanical engineering or related.Be experienced in working in processes and following instructions.Strong hand skills.Good computer literacy.Have a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and good organizational skills.Be a confident, effective communicator and a strong team player.Be passionate about your work and always strive for the best and take pride in your work.Be able to comply with a strong safety and quality culture.Be flexible and adaptable.Able to work in physical tasks, such as but not limited to: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, carrying, and twisting.HOURS OF WORKIn this full-time position you will work in a fortnightly rotating shift pattern.
