We are looking to boost our Trade Point of Sale Team in our Mitre 10 MEGA Petone store.

We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic candidate who understands the importance of providing outstanding customer service to our trade and DIY customers.

The Point of Sale team deliver the first and last impression of our business and the person we seek for this position must have a high level of integrity, the ability to remain cool under pressure and be able to think on their feet. Previous cash handling experience and customer service experience are a must, while knowledge of timber and building products will be a strong advantage.

To be successful you must have:

* A passion for providing excellent customer service
* Previous customer service experience is preferrable
* The ability to build great relationships with our regular customers
* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
* Previous cash handling experience
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Confidence in making decisions as required
* Confidence using a computer
* An outgoing personality with a positive and friendly manner

This is a permanent full time position, working Sunday to Thursday

Mitre 10 MEGA Petone is a drug and alcohol free organisation. The successful applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment drug/alcohol testing.
