As one of New Zealand's largest transport energy companies, we have a commitment to delivering safe, secure, and reliable transport energy – with the opportunity to deliver new journeys, with new energy solutions in a changing world.We are proud to be the Kiwi contingent in the Ampol Group, an independent Trans-Tasman energy company, with trading offices across the globe, which are united behind our shared purpose.Job DescriptionAs Z Energy evolves its digital transformation, and becomes increasingly reliant on digital applications, data engineering products and modern enterprise solutions to drive operations, customer interactions, and innovation, we are pleased to welcome a Kaiarahi Tahaumaru Security Lead into our Information Security practice within the wider Digital team.Working alongside our wider Security team, and in collaboration with service providers and stakeholders in Z, you will play a leading role within a major information security uplift programme, serving as a Security expert in various capacities.You will have the opportunity to:Lead security initiatives that are part of our cyber security uplift programImprove excellence in security operations by improving processes and train more junior colleaguesProvide Internal Security Consulting to various internal partners and stakeholders – understanding & explaining security concepts, translating security to risk for non-technical colleaguesChampion Security Culture within the Digital Business Unit and wider ZDeveloping or delivering security awareness & training initiativesWork with the security team to manage security partners, triaging security events and vulnerabilitiesQualificationsWhat you'll bring to Z:Broad knowledge in Technology Security & Governance, Risk & Compliance initiatives, with commercial experience either within Security Consulting, or within a large Enterprise organizationExpertise in leading & influencing teams of people to achieve long term improvements, but also on daily tasks and team goals.An effective relationship builder, able to manage performance, uplift capabilities, coach and motivate othersExperience in planning, implementing and upgrading security measures for the protection of IT networks & informationAbility to engage with a broad range of stakeholders, colleagues and vendors, with great communication capabilitiesAnd of course, you'll be passionate about what matters to Z, embracing and living our values to help us deliver on our aspirations and broader commitment to Aotearoa New Zealand.Additional InformationWhat we can offer you:A competitive remuneration package including short-term incentive plan, medical insurance for you and your family, enhanced employer contribution for KiwiSaverGenerous leave provisions including enhanced sick leave, parental leave benefits and the option to buy additional leaveThe balance of hybrid working, enjoy some of your week at home and some in our welcoming office spaceThe opportunity to contribute and be part of a supportive team that is here to make a differenceA chance to build your own capability through learning from some of the industry's most knowledgeable people who have a desire to share their insights along with access to upskilling opportunities and career development across the organisationTwo days a year to do Good in your Hood, through our volunteering scheme, a chance for you to help others in your community in a meaningful way to youThe base salary range for this role is $129,200 to $152,000 per annum, plus 15% STI based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.Why Z?Z has always been a proud Kiwi company.
