This will be a permanent, part-time opportunity and will include one weekend day per week. Life as a makeup artist at MECCA: World-class education; continuous upskilling to hone your craft with MECCAversity and make-up artistry summits Masterclasses with leading global artists and brands like Nars, Urban Decay, Violette, Westman Atelier Exposure to support activations across brands and events like Mardi Gras & in-store experiences Play with the latest products from the world's top brands Work-life balance; permanent opportunities with regular schedules Up to 40% discount to spoil yourselves and your immediate family, as well as a generous product allowance Parental leave package including ongoing superannuation payments while on parental leave Day-to-day responsibilities: Conducting makeup application services for customers from full glam to natural looks Be the go-to expert in-store for all things makeup; helping our customers to find the best products for their needs and making sure everyone leaves feeling MECCA-mazing Work alongside your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the store What success looks like in this role: Proven experience in professional makeup applications and the ability to conduct back-to-back appointments keeping to strict timings across peak trade hours Confident in delivering top trending looks; winged and graphic liners, natural glowy skin, smokey eyes, and fierce red lips Ability to deliver unforgettable moments for our customers that help them to feel amazing in their own skin Ability to coach and upskill your peers and demonstrate your make-up expertise to build the make-up category An inclusive, team-spirited person with a can-do attitude If you have never worked for MECCA before, the first 90-days of employment will be subject to a trial period Next steps: Get your portfolio ready and apply now - we can't wait to see your skills If successful, as part of your application you may be asked to conduct a one-way video interview and as the last round, an in-person practical makeup assessment.
