We have an exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Affairs team as a Corporate Affairs Representative

Then read on to find out more.This is a newly created role to support the Corporate Affairs team in creating engaging external communication plans, while also executing multi-channel content campaigns that amplify our brand values and enhance our public image.
You will play a key role in identifying, recommending, developing, and delivering high quality and effective corporate affairs initiatives and content that support and build on our reputation as NZ's most trusted insurer.We're looking for someone with a background in PR, content marketing or social media agency experience, who's ready for the next step up in their career.
You'll be a seasoned creative, with great attention to detail, strong written and verbal communications, and a passion for engaging with external audiences to bring our stories to life.
Ideally, you'll have hands on campaign management skills as well as proven senior-level stakeholder management experience.If this sounds like you, then apply with us now for this exciting role.What you will be doing?Develop, create, and edit compelling multi-channel content that helps tell AAI's stories, amplify our brand values and enhance our public image.Implement external communications plans and campaigns that build AAI's reputation and grow our public image.Monitor current events and social media activity to identify trends and issues that may require responses or action.Identify and respond to issues that may impact our reputation - liaising with key internal stakeholders to advise on the best course of action to minimise reputational risk.Support the Corporate Affairs Lead with media relations and internal and external stakeholder management.Maintain AAI's corporate affairs information library and internal reporting activities.Support the Corporate Affairs and Sustainability team and wider business with communications activities and projects, as needed.Support the wider business to ensure a consistently high standard of communication with customers, vendors, and industry stakeholders.To Shine In The RoleMinimum 2 years' experience in communications and public relations (including social media) is essential.Ideally experience in a medium to large sized professional organisation, or a social media/PR focused agency.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to confidently build, nurture positive work relationships, collaborate effectively, build internal capability and influence accordingly.A real passion for content creation, social media and content marketing.Proven ability to prioritise and manage workloads.Great energy, tenacity, problem-solving skills, and a strong growth mindset.Tertiary qualification in communications/public relations or journalism.Do you think you have the passion, collaboration, imagination, and values that match our own?Apply & upload your CV today, to enquire about this role within the Corporate Affairs team here.
