Optical Receptionist

It is exciting times at Westgate Optometrists, as for the first time (previously under a job share arrangement) we are looking for a full time optical receptionist Our previous senior receptionist of over 7 years is now enjoying motherhood, and so we are looking for the next face of our practice. The position is primarily a reception role within an optical practice.  The primary tasks within this role include: Warmly greeting and assisting our patientsTaking phone calls & addressing walk-in enquiriesAssisting our optometrist with job orders This means the candidate must be: Organized & tidyReliable in work ethic & communicationHave an attention to detailComputer literate As our practice is also a retail shopfront, there will also be an element of assisting patients with trying on frames & talking about our products as well. Remuneration is up for negotiation but will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and suitability. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not strictly required.
