Astra Radiology is part of the Integral Diagnostics Group (IDX), one of the largest private radiology providers in Australia and New Zealand and provides comprehensive Radiology and Tele-radiology services to private medical facilities and public hospitals.About The RolesWe have two exciting opportunities for Full-Time Medical Receptionists with excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills to join our team who cover all Astra Auckland sites.
You will be highly motivated with a strong focus on patient care, and the ability to work well in a team environment.Duties Include But Are Not Limited ToAssisting health professionals to conduct procedures including patient consentsPreparing patients for scans, positioning and assisting patientsPreparing rooms for scansMaintaining high level of health standards in the departmentLiaising with health professionals to co-ordinate the arrival of patients for their bookingsAbout YouHealthcare experience is beneficialAbility to promote and maintain high standards of patient careHigh level of personal and interpersonal communicationAbility to prioritise and complete tasks in a timely mannerExcellent organisation and time management skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary teamCommitment to continuing professional developmentThe role would suit a patient focused candidate with a genuine interest in the Medical Imaging industry that would enjoy the exposure to radiology.
