Proliant Health & Biologicals is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team in Feilding, New Zealand.About the RoleAs a Quality Technician, you will support quality control and food safety initiatives through laboratory testing, maintaining our Quality Management System (QMS), and ensuring compliance with both regulatory and company standards.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using techniques like pH, endotoxin, and ELISA testing.Accurately record and verify test results in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).Manage sample storage and coordinate with external laboratories.Support QMS activities, including managing non-conformances, document control, CAPA, and supplier assessments.Assist in internal and external audits and train staff on quality protocols and SOPs.Maintain laboratory organization, equipment calibration, and inventory management.What You'll NeedEducation: National Certificate or Diploma in Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field (NZQA Level 5 or 6).Experience: Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment, ideally in QA/QC roles. Proficiency in laboratory equipment and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).Skills:Strong communication and collaboration skills.Attention to detail with excellent organizational capabilities.Proficiency in testing methods and GMP/ISO standards.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks.Why Join Us?At Proliant Health & Biologicals, you'll be part of a collaborative team that values innovation, resourcefulness, and reliability.
